Extra money for schools
The government gives money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. This funding is called a Pupil Premium.
For every child registered for FSM the school gets Pupil Premium funding of £1,075 for secondary-aged pupils (2025-2026).
Even if your child is unlikely to take a free school meal it is still worth applying because we can use this money to support you with essential curriculum trips and key items of uniform.
Please contact the Finance Office for further information on how to do this finance@st-augustines.wilts.sch.uk
