Young Enterprise County final

We took two teams this year, all year 10s, Pulp Labs – sponsored by GWR and All Inclusive.  There were 8 teams at the County Final in total and 6 prizes up for grabs (ouch).

Pulp Labs: Bo Buxton, Archie Stott, John Dorrian and Joshua Silk; designers and makers of products made from waste card.

All Inclusive: Amy Emsley, Sheena Kibera, Aisake Vulakovaki, Rafe Hidaglo-Curtis and Bruno Kranopolski; a concept brand to use their name to spread an inclusive message throughout the fashion industry.

Both teams put up a good show for the fierce judging, including a grilling from the runner-up of last year’s ‘The Apprentice’, Kathryn Burn

Then to the presentations.  The teams knew they had a fight on their hands, there was a professional coffee producer, seed-cards commercially printed, a board game, copper jewellery…  Unsurprisingly they were a little nervous, they knew they were up against an almost entirely Sixth Form field.

And to the results:

So wish them luck, we’re off to Swindon in three weeks to the Area Final 😊  Thanks to anyone who has helped either team, to Claire Ruck for driving and Richard Jotcham who is our volunteer Business Advisor.
