Filmed in 1961 by acclaimed director Akira Kurosawa, “Yojimbo” tells the story a wandering samurai who enters a rural town in nineteenth century Japan. After learning from the innkeeper that the town is besieged by two gangs, he plays one side off against the other for his own gain and to define his own sense of honour. This timeless classic is an iconic samurai film that inspired directors such as Quentin Tarantino and Sergio Leone.
