Tickets are on sale for this lovely warm, wise and witty play- age guideline Year 10 upwards.
A cast of seven have been working hard to bring this production to the stage and we look forward to welcoming you for an evening of fabulous entertainment.
Performed by a cast of six, this play has variously been described as “skillfully constructed comedy”, “a delicate treatise on human nature”, “wise and witty”, as well as “poignant and moving”.
We follow the story of three sisters in their thirties who gather at the house of their mother, Vi, for her funeral. As the dialogue unfolds it becomes clear that each of the women has quite different memories of their mother and of their shared childhood- and also that Vi has not quite left yet…
Encounter the school hall as you have never seen it as you take your place on one of the sofas in Vi’s pot pourri filled living room and peer into Vi’s world. With Mr. Attlesey’s striking set (and he makes no apologies for the 1970s wallpaper) you might be forgiven for thinking you have slipped back in time!
We hope to welcome you to one of the performances. Students can purchase tickets from the Finance Office at break or lunch times.
