Joffre White, a local author, talked to all Year 7 students keeping them spellbound for a hour. He also ran with one lucky class a creative writing workshop. as one student said it was  “an amazing visit and it gave us some knowledge we can hang onto for a long time. Joffre probably inspired many people at his talk and taught us that just reading for pleasure could help us a lot!”
