On Tuesday 12th June, Year 7 took part in a STEM workshop, learning the Science behind the ‘Selfie’. Students were learning about the history of mirrors and how light changes and can be used to take more interesting photos. They had a look at ‘Selfies’ throughout history and how they have evolved, to what we know today.
The students then had a go at taking their own selfies, using a selection of props with reflective surfaces and using magnifying glasses too. Some students got very creative with their compositions, using multiple cameras or reflective surfaces.
Below are some of the students having a go.
