The last week of the Easter Term was the time for the Year 7, 8 , and 9’s to compete for the honours of Inter-House champions. The events on display this term were football, basketball, handball and table tennis in which some great individual but mainly team performances were on show.
Year 7’s: In a closely fought competition where no form won more than 2 events on the day, Campion managed to grasp victory with the help of victories in both the football and table tennis. Therese snuck into second place closely followed by Fisher, with Becket just beating More to a fourth placed finish in the overall standings.
Year 8’s: In a contest where only the first position was outright, every point proved critical in a competition where Therese climbed above the rest to claim the honours. In a joint for second were the teams of Becket and Campion with only 3 points separating them both from Fisher and More in a very tight and compelling Inter-House competition.
Year 9’s: Year 9 fought for every point during there Inter-House competition, with eventual winners Fisher claiming the honours after victory earlier in the handball. Campion came strong runner ups, with Therese managing to climb over the line for a bronze medal finish. One point separated the final two teams with Becket just clinging on to the 4th place leaving More finishing ever so closely behind.
