St Augustine’s Catholic College is a welcoming, academic college with strong technical merits in sports and technology, but that also excels across the curriculum at both GCSE and A-Level. This is the result of a dedicated teaching staff that strive to foster a strong working ethos in their students and in return create passionate pupils who are genuinely enthused about their subjects. The College also contains a compassionate, supportive pastoral unit; everybody looks out for one another and there is always somebody you can turn to – this is partially down to the strong spiritual dimension that is shared at school. We’re also fortunate to have teachers that are willing to commit countless hours of time outside of the classroom to help students achieve in extra-curricular fields from Model United Nations to our high-achieving sports teams. St Augustine’s is a community wherein anybody can be successful through hard work and dedication, a process that begins early in Year 7 and concludes with many Year 13s gaining their first choice university places.
