The librarian Mrs Daniel, is available from Monday to Thursday 8.30 am – 5.00pm, Friday 8.30 am – 4.30pm to offer help and advice in accessing and using ethically all these resources.
The Library has 28 computers, 11,000 fiction and non-fiction books. Access through our Online Library Catalogue to 8,000 evaluated web resources, 24 print and online subject magazines.
Reading groups, merits, reading lists, Drop Everything and Read, end of year party for Fantastic Borrowers, Book Week activities, competitions, paired reading and author visits are some of the fun and engaging methods we use to support Literacy across the curriculum.
The online resources includes a range of useful sites including Naxos Music Library.
Useful for sequels and provides some biographical details of authors.
