Giving students a voice, essential to the collaborative relationship between students & staff.
The Student Council is the vehicle for promoting student voice essential to the collaborative relationship that exists between students and staff. Each year group is represented on the Council by 4 elected members. These representatives, along with an appointed sixth form Pastoral Prefect, run a surgery once every term for students to discuss issues and make suggestions.
Here too, special interest groups can be empowered and supported, providing opportunities for students to make a contribution to a broad mix of significant local and international initiatives. The Young Lasallian Group, headed by Mrs Kotze (Head of Year 8 ) is central to the development of external initiatives. This also offers students the opportunity to develop leadership and collaborative skills in a Christian context.
